Time for another trip…
In the morning—early early morning I leave for Seattle. Due to recent events this trip has become even more excited if it is possible because…..Dan and I will be moving to Seattle a week after the wedding.
Today marks 50 days until the wedding. Yes I have a countdown going- I started at day 94. We’re moving pretty quickly towards the end of the countdown. And yesterday is the one year anniversary to mark the evening that Dan proposed to me. How exciting!
How much fun would this be?
Due to a current job prospect for Dan, he and I started throwing around the idea of buying me a cute/wonderfully colored Vespa to get around town in. Now I am a Harley girl through and through- it’s in my blood. I sneer when I see crotch rockets and Harley wanna-bes but there is something totally different about a Vespa. It is a totally cool, amazing awesome version of a non-Harley motorbike vehicle. And I would be so cute on one!!!!

Gift Day
Today is the day of my one and only BRIDAL SHOWER. Also, today I am having a “practice” make-up and hair day in preparation for the big day that is two months from yesterday.
Even though I’ll be opening loads of presents later tonight. I really want one of these. right. now….. I want one. or two. or maybe a whole little clan or army of cute sock monkeys.
I remember when I was little we played a mean trick on Aunt Maryanne. She had a “traditional” sock monkey that she loved with all her heart. We put it in the freezer. I am so sorry Mr. Sock Monkey.

I was listening/singing this song a few moments ago while quilting. I love this song- Billie Joel was my first concert and it was amazing. But I got to thinking. What would a modern day “We Didn’t Start the Fire” entail? What would be 2007’s Psycho? British Politician Sex? Wheel of Fortune? Communist Bloc?ect….
